WW Brown & Sons help The Angel Hotel to restore its Edwardian frontage

WW Brown & Sons are this month working closely with The Angel Hotel to undergo significant restoration work on its façade, in a bid to reinstate the building’s Edwardian frontage.

WW Brown are working to ensure that the restoration work will successfully replicate the building’s previous style, which featured an off-white frontage with black accents on the pillars, windows and porch.

Scaffolding is currently being erected to the front of the building, and will be there for the next five weeks, but The Angel will still be open for business as usual.

This latest restoration is part of ongoing refurbishments at the hotel, including revamped bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as an overhaul of the bar and restaurant areas. As The Angel is a Grade 2 Listed Building in an area of conservation, all work has required special planning permission, and adheres to strict regulations set out by Harborough Council.
